Our Effortless Tracking Email Forwarder is great for users that don't want to give full access to their inbox. This guide will cover creating an auto forward rule for Gmail accounts to be used with our forwarder:

  1. Go to Settings (Looks like a cog in the top right hand corner of your email)
  2. At the top, select "Forwarding and POP/IMAP"
  3. Under the section tiled "Forwarding" Select "Add a forwarding address"
  4. When prompted, use the address packages@getboxlock.com
  5. Select "Next"
  6. Verify the address in the next window (May have to turn off Popup/Ad Blocker if enabled) If address is correct, select "Proceed"
  7. Once you've done this you will need a verification code from us to proceed. Please reach out if you don't receive it within 15 minutes.
  8. Next, go to the section titled "Filters and Blocked Addresses"
  9. On the right hand side, select "Create a new filter"
  10. In the "From" section add the email addresses below: (You must separate each with a comma)
    - mcinfo@ups.com
    - auto-reply@usps.com
    - uspsinformeddelivery@usps.gov
    -  rackingupdates@fedex.com
    - shipment-tracking@amazon.com
  11. Click "Create Filter"
  12. Check the box labeled "Forward it"
  13. Choose the address "packages@getboxlock.com"
  14. Select "Create Filter"
  15. You should now be automatically forwarding any delivery notifications from the supported carriers to our package collection program.
